CPAA's HOPE Program is looking for volunteers and staff to fill several key positions in the organization.  Please see the job descriptions below and send a letter of interest and a resume to hopedogs@comcast.net to be considered.

Behavior Coach

* Two training sessions per month
* 1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month
* 8:30-10:00 a.m.
* Evaluations of incoming dogs as
   needed
* Must be creative, positive and have
   the ability to adapt to various styles
   of learning
* Responsible for creating and
   implementing training plans for each
   dog in the program and working
   with the inmates to achieve the
   stated goals prior to adoption
* Follow-up support for adopters
* Strong leadership and communication
   skills required
* Computer and email proficiency
* Previous experience required
* Background check required

This is a current position that is vacant and is a paid position.

Agility Instructor

* One training session per month
* March through October
* 4th Thursday of each month
* 8:30-10:00 a.m.
* Handle adoption sessions for dogs
   leaving for "parole"
* Follow-up support for adopters
* Strong leadership and communication
   skills required
* Previous experience required
* Background check required

This is a new position being added to complement our current training program and is a paid position.

Rescue Coordinator

* Process incoming applications from
   rescues and schedule evaluations
* Answer questions from members
* Respond to emails from rescues, as
   well as potential adopters
* Schedule adoptions
* Must be extremely organized and
   professional when dealing with
   adopters and member groups
* Ability to maintain several open
   cases at once
* Must be a problem solver
* Follow up with rescues regarding
   pending applications, status, etc.
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Strong leadership and communication
   skills required
* Background check required
